Gregory Mark Getty, 70, Meyersdale died February 13, 2026 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born in Meyersdale on February 27, 1955 to the late Oliver G. and Ina L. (Lucas) Getty. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife to whom he was married to for 37 years, Cathy (Forrest) Getty. Son, Oliver (Kala) Getty. Daughters, Theresa (Emery) Strope-Walker and Christina Getty. Grandchildren, Abigail Walker and Lucas Getty. Brothers, James Getty and Robert Getty. Sisters, Anita Abernathy and Patricia Boyce. Greg was a member of the Meyersdale Moose. He was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh Sports. He was the former owner of the Mountain Chateau in Boynton, Pa. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. At his request he will then be cremated.
